Facial Contouring & Rejuvenation in Beverly Hills

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Neil Vranis performs the full spectrum of facial procedures — facelift, neck lift, brow lift, eye rejuvenation, lip lift — designed in harmony with your features, never to a template.

What is facial contouring?

Facial contouring and rejuvenation refers to the family of surgical procedures that restore proportion and refresh the face: extended deep plane facelift, neck lift, blepharoplasty, brow lift, lip lift, and fat transfer. Most patients combine two or three to achieve a balanced result in a single recovery period.

Dr. Vranis approaches the face as one connected system — bone, fat, skin, and ligaments all working together. The plan is always individual, never a template, and the goal is always natural — never operated on.

Signature procedures

Performed alone or combined into a personalized treatment plan during your consultation.

Extended Deep Plane Facelift

A modern facelift technique that lifts deeper tissue layers for natural, lasting rejuvenation.

Neck Lift

Refines the jawline and addresses platysmal banding for a clean, defined neckline.

Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty

Brightens and rejuvenates the eye area by refining excess skin and fat distribution.

Brow Lift

Restores brow position and openness around the eyes with a balanced, subtle lift.

Lip Lift

Shortens the philtrum and gently exposes more of the upper lip for a youthful proportion.

Fat Transfer

Uses your own fat to restore volume in areas that have softened over time.

The extended deep plane facelift advantage

Modern deep plane technique releases deeper facial ligaments and lifts the underlying SMAS layer as a single composite unit. The result is a refreshed appearance that holds up over time and ages with you — never the tightened, pulled look of older techniques.

Dr. Vranis is fellowship-trained in this advanced approach and performs it as the foundation of most facial rejuvenation plans.

Combining procedures for a balanced result

Most facial rejuvenation patients combine procedures — facelift with neck lift to harmonize the jaw and neck, eyelid surgery to refresh the upper face, lip lift to restore upper-lip proportion. Combined under one anesthesia, the result is more harmonious than addressing each in isolation.

The right combination depends on your anatomy and goals. Every consultation begins with that conversation.

What to expect during recovery

Most facial procedures are performed at our accredited surgical facility under general anesthesia. Patients return home the same day with a small dressing. Bruising and swelling resolve over the first one to two weeks; most return to desk-based work between days seven and ten.

Dr. Vranis sees every patient personally at one week, three weeks, six weeks, and beyond — your care continues for as long as you need it.

Why patients choose Dr. Vranis

Patients choose Vranis Plastic Surgery for facial rejuvenation because of Dr. Vranis’s combination of training and approach. He completed his residency at NYU Langone Health and a prestigious aesthetics fellowship under Drs. Calvert, Ghavami, Ordon, Chopra, Gabbay, and Perez. His Beverly Hills practice is intentionally small — every patient receives direct attention from start to finish.

The result is a quietly confident approach: refined technique, an artist’s eye for proportion, and care that builds trust over years.

Patient FAQs

A facial rejuvenation surgery (NEOlift) involves lifting, re-volumization and skin improvement. This procedure was specifically designed by Dr. Vranis to address the three major components of facial aging. Fillers will add volume and will address one of the components of aging. Toxin procedure (ie. Botox, Daxxify, etc) will address dynamic skin wrinkles by weakening the underlying muscle that contributes to those movement lines.

This depends on a number of factors. Traditionally patients in their 50’s and 60’s were ideal candidates for facial rejuvenation procedures. As we have improved the safety and consistency of results, patients in their 40’s that have visible signs of deflation and descent – due to genetics or weight loss – are also excellent candidates for these procedures.

Skilled facial rejuvenation experts, like Dr. Vranis, are trained to perform all types of facelifts. Lifting of the SMAS – either through an extended deep place, SMAS plication, SMASectomy or High-SMAS techniques – is critical. Dr. Vranis has performed all of the techniques numerous times and thus, will customize the procedure to best suit your face and aesthetic needs.

Facelift and fat transfer for volume will last forever, however, the aging process will continue for all of us. Typically, patients will enjoy their results for 10 to 15 years. Some patients have genetics with higher-than-normal elasticity of their tissues which does contribute to faster than normal recurrence. To extend the longevity of a facelift result, one should do routine maintenance that includes, neurotoxin, lasers, microneedling and light therapies.

Eyelid surgery is a great way to refresh the peri-orbital area and look less tired and more refreshed. This can be done as a stand-alone procedure or in combination with a full facial rejuvenation procedure (NEOlift).
